Rytis Koreniukas:::

MEKASDUo is a wild duo of Vytautas Kizala and Audrius Remeikis, combining punk and noise elements into impulsive and noisy jazz.
MEKASDUo’s music is textural and free, encouraging spontaneous connection and release of the senses and inviting to bodily, almost tangibly, undergo a musical discharge. Musicians prefer to play rather than talk about themselves, so in order to understand their unadorned and true work, MEKASDUo needs to be heard live.
During the concert MEKASDUo’s drums and guitar will meet the saxophone – the duo will join forces with free jazz saxophonist Dovydas Stalmokas, who perform with solo programs as well as together with improvised music projects such as the MozX trio, Low Blow and many more. MEKASDU with Dovydas Stalmokas – even more energetic, louder and unpredictable.

Vytautas Kizala – guitar
Audrius Remeikis – drums
Vytautas Stalmokas – saxophones
