On 30th of April Kaunas Artists’ House will host a presentation and lecture on Margaret Tali’s and Tanel Rander’s co-edited book “Archives and Disobedience: Changing tactics of visual culture in Eastern Europe” (publisher Estonian Academy of Arts Press).
On the 14th of March, 6 pm, Kaunas Artists’ House will host the launch of “Lithuanian Music Link”, a magazine published by the Music Information Centre Lithuania, followed by a discussion between Ugnius Babinskas, Kotryna Lingienė, Asta Pakarklytė and Emilija Visockaitė.
On the 30th of January, 6.30 pm Kaunas Artists’ House and “Jonas and Jokūbas” publishing house is pleased to invite you to the launch of philosopher Nerijus Milerius’s newest book “Žiūrėti į žiūrintįjį”, attended by the book’s author and philosopher Gintautas Mažeikis.
“I have always wondered why there are philosophers, and what it is we might think to accomplish in pursuing philosophy. I wonder in particular if the essential indefiniteness in the choice to pursue what matters most – philosophy – is the secret that we must each hide within ourselves and not expose to the light of day for fear that its trembling might suddenly cease.”
