Welcome to the Artist's Dream!

“I believe that in the future these two states, dream and reality, which seem to be very contradictory, will merge into an absolute reality, the surreal,”— André Breton, the founder of the movement, said in the first Surrealist Manifesto in 1924.

On the occasion of Kaunas Artists' House 52nd birthday, we invite you to experience surreality created by the interplay of dream and reality. Let’s meet on November 28th fote the all-day Artist’s Dream:

10 am - 12 pm Cultural breakfast. The event is intended for cultural professionals and community members. To participate in the event, you must register first. Registration will be available shortly.

12 pm - 2 pm, 3 pm - 4 pm and 5 pm - 6.30 pm LAUKKU artists collective (LV) performance „Dreaming of a Perfect Arts House“

2 pm and 4 pm Tour “Living House”, held by the employees of Kaunas Artis’s House

5 pm - 7 pm Workshop "Stamping”, held by the artist Greta Duobienė

6 pm Opening of the exhibition "Exposure" featuring artists Julija Pociūtė, Aistė Ambrazevičiūtė, Aldona Keturakienė, Eglė Marcinkevičiūtė, Morta Jonynaitė

7 pm DJ International farmer will make vinyl records and our bodies dance
