On 14 December at 8 pm, we invite you to the last event of the NICHE concert series, which will take place in Vilnius at cultural complex SODAS 2123.
During the series, Lithuanian sound artists and composers will present live performances of vocal, electronic, alternative, and experimental works, revealing new possibilities for voice and sound. Diverse methodologies and sonic expressions - from minimalist solos to performative electroacoustic compositions - will create unique experiences and provoke new ways of listening.

CONCERT WILL FEATURE:
▞ Ugnė Makselytė, aka Davai Bėgam - sound artist, composer, and performer, combining elements of soundscape composition, electronic dance music, and vocal improvisation. The programme will feature a vocal improvisation performance, where instrumental voice applications accompany a collage of field recordings and repetitive minimalist electronics.
▞ Sarmata - experimental pop music producer and performer from Vilnius. Starting her career as a drummer and songwriter in the punk rock band Crucial Features back in 2016, today she continues to search for electronic sounds in her surroundings, feelings, and memories.
▞ Jūra Elena Šedytė - in her work as a composer-performer, Jūra Elena focuses on the subtle interplay between voice and electronics. Her creative methods, based on interdisciplinary ethics and a dedication to improvisation, result in an ever-expanding palette and a sense of electronic symphony in her music. In the programme, Jūra Elena will appear as a selector, where she will perform dance music pieces and their mixtures in vocally influential forms.
